Analysis:

By analyzing the three practice session results one could safely assume that CRT bikes are no where in competition to the Factory/Satelite bikes.

Honda RC213V

This bike is an all round performer a perfect mix of performance and top speed however only Casey Stoner was able to be in the top three for Honda in the practice sessions.Dani Pedrosa was in fifth position in first and third sessions and was sixth in second practice session. The satellite bikes also had not llived up to the expectations both LCR Honda and San Carlo Gresini Honda was not able to be in the top 5 in the three practice sessions. So the success of Honda greatly depends on Casey Stoner.

Yamaha M1 2012

After seeing the Pratice sesssion results Yamaha Factory Racing would be the happiest team in Moto GP 2012.There are 2 factory bikes and 2 satellite bikes for Yamaha and all the four have managed to be in the top 10 standings in the first 2 practice sessions and in the third practice session Ben spies had settled at 11 th place while the other three were in the top 5 and Jorge Lorenzo was in the first place and Cal Crutchlow satellite Yamaha bike was second. In the first two practice sessions Jorge Lorenzo was second and in second practice session andrea Dovizioso on the Satellite Yamaha bike was in the third place.

Although Ben’s Yamaha M1 bike was the slowest factory/satellite bike in terms of top speed and Jorge Lorenzo was also not on the top five in terms of top speed.and the satellite bikes were also not in the top 5 in terms of top speed meaning that no factory/satellite Yamaha bike was in the top 5 in top speeds. The 1000 cc Yamaha with over 240 hp and the powerful of the factory bikes seems to be performance oriented it is not about the top speed but cornering and braking which helped the bike a very great deal in the standings.

Yamaha may have the best Moto GP season this year.

Ducati Demosedici GP 12

there are 4 Ducati bikes in Moto GP 2 factory bikes and 2 satellite bikes. The four bikes in the three practice sessions were in the top 5 in terms of top speed and in all three practice sessions the Ducati bike was the fastest bike. But being faster than the other bikes had not helped Ducati team achieve success. In the first practice session Nicky Hayden was placed in third position this was the only best performance in the practice session.Hector Barbera from Parmac racing was aggresive in top speed but not been able to be in the top three.

Valentino Rossi’s nightmares with Ducati seems to be coninuing he finished 10 th in first two practice sessions and settled for eight place behind his teamamte Nicky Hayden.

CRT Bikes:

CRT bikes had not managed a position better than thirteen the difference between the CRT bikes and Factory/Satelite bikes is very high. The top speed of the fastest CRT bike was the Suter BMW which averaged a top speed of 316.33 across three sessions was far more behind the fastest bike Desmosedici Gp 12 which averaged 338.33 kms.The difference between these two bikes was a massive 22 km/hr.This shows that the CRT bikes need much more power to compete with factory bikes.

Ioda Racing Project bike was not able to even get near 300 km/hr mark.
