World SBK 2012 Monza Qualifying Practice 2 Eugene Laverty leads

Eugene Laverty from Aprilia Racing team riding on Aprilia RSV4 Factory finished in 1 st place at Monza Qualifying Practice session 2.His fastest lap time was 1:43.571 with top speed of 332.5 km/hr.He qualifies in 4 th place for super pole as his Qualifying practice 1 lap time was better than QP 2.

In Second place was Tom Sykes from Kawasaki Racing team riding on Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R with fastest lap time of 1:42.380 with a top speed of 32.8 km/hr.His time difference was 0.061 seconds.He qualifies in 6 th position for Super Pole

Max Biaggi another Aprilia Racing team rider finished in third place with time difference of 0.085 seconds.He qualifies in 7 th position based on QP 1 results.

Jonathan Rea from Honda World Super Bike team finished in fourth place with time difference of 0.094 seconds.The Competition was intense in the top 4 places.

Ayrton Badovini BMW Motorrad Italia Goldbet team  finished in 5 th place with time difference of 0.430 seconds.

Defending Champion Carlos Checa from Althea Racing finished in 11 th position with time difference of 1.573 seconds.However he qualifies in 9 th position based on QP 1 results.

Marco Melandri finished in 9 th position and qualifies in second place.

Michel Fabrizio finished in 12 th position and qualifies in 1 st position for super pole.

World Super Bike 2012 Assen Jakub Smrz Fastest in qualifying practice 2

This is a wet race and lap times have increased significantly form Qualifying Practice 1 times.Jakub Smrz from Effenbert Liberty Racing team riding Ducati 1098R was the fastest man on the grid The track is wet so the lap times of Qualifying practice 2.His fastest Lap time was 1:55.659 seconds more than his fastest lap time in Qualifying practice where he had fastest lap time of 1:39.605 and finished in 12 th position.So although Jakub Smrz had finished the race in 1 st position in 2 nd session of Qualifying practice he will start in 12 th position during super pole 1.His team mate Sylvain Guintoli will start in 1 st position during Super pole 1 based on QP 1 results.

Leon Haslam from BMW Motorrad Motorsport team riding BMW S1000RR has finished in second place with his fastest lap time of 1:55.876 lagging behind Jakub by 0.217 seconds.baed in his QP 1 results he will start from 14 th position

Tom Sykes From Kawasaki Racing team riding Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R was in third place with his fastest lap of 1:56.171 and with time difference of 0.512 seconds.he will start super pole in 2 nd position.

Niccolo Canepa from Red Devils Roma team riding on Ducati 1098R finished in fourth place with time difference of 1.827 seconds.Although Niccolo Canepa finished in fourth place he will not be eligible for super pole’s because he was in 18 th position during QP 1 and only top 16 riders can compete in super pole’s.

Jonathan Rea from Honda World Super Bike team riding on Honda CBR1000RR had settled for fifth place with time difference of 1.902 seconds.he was also in fifth position during QP 1 so he will start the race in 5 th position during QP 1.

Defending champion Carlos Checa from Althea racing  was uncomfortable with the dry race and has finished in sixth place with time difference of 1.910 seconds.However Carlos Checa will start Super Pole 1 in 4 th place based on QP 1.

Max Biaggi from Aprilia Racing team riding on Aprilia RSV4 Factory finished in 13 th position.

World Super Bike 2012 Assen Free Practice Marco Melandri in 1 st place

In Free practice session of WSBK 2012 at Assen Marco Melandri from Italy riding for BMW Motorrad Motosport team riding on BMW S1000RR was in first place.His fastest lap time was 1:37.582 seconds.He had a maximum top speed of 286.8 km/hr and 167.564 kms Average speed.

Following him in second place  was defending champion Carlos Checa from Althea racing team riding Ducati 1098 R with a time difference of 0.129 seconds he had the fastest lap time of 1:37.711 and had a maximum top speed of 270.2 km/hr and average speed of 167.342 km/hr.

In third place was Tom Sykes from factory Kawasaki Racing team riding on Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R with a total lap time of 1:37.781 with a time difference of 0.199 seconds and 0.070 seconds time difference between him and Carlos Checa.He had a 286.8 kms top speed and 167.223 kms average speed.

In fourth place was Michel Fabrizio from BMW Motorrad Italia Goldbet team riding BMW S1000RR Super bike with a time difference of 0.309 seconds.His Average speed was 167.035 while his top speed was 283.7 km/hr.

Jonathan Rea racing for factory Honda World Super bike team riding on Honda CBR1000RR finished in fifth place with a time difference of 0.586 seconds his average and top speed were 166.563 kms and 286.0 kms respectively.

The fastest man on the track in terms of top speed was Leon Haslam BMW Motorrad Motorsport which is the factory team of BMW in world super bike riding on BMW S1000RR with 289.1 km/hr top speed and 166.530 km/hr average speed.He finshed in sixth place.

Max Biaggi riding for factory Aprilia Racing team on Aprilia RSV4 Factory bike had a disapointing 17 th place finish with a time difference of 1.346 seconds.
