Formula 1 2012 Sebastian Vettel Wins Bahrain Grand Prix

Sebastian Vettel from Red Bull Racing-Renaut driving his RB8 Formula 1 car and also defending champion wins at Bahrain Grand Prix.This is also the first 1 st place finish for Vettel in 2012 Formula 1 season.He also did the fastes lap of the race with lap time of 1:36.379 during 41 st lap.He started the grid in 1 st place.

Double Bonanza for Lotus Formula 1 team:

Kimi Raikonen from Lotus team driving his Lotus E20 finished in second place.He started the grid in 11 th position.The difference between Vettel and him was 3.3 seconds.

In third place was Kimi Raikonen’s team mate Romain Grosjean.he started the grid in 7 th position.The time difference was 10.1 seconds.

Mark Webber team mate of Sebastian Vettel driving the RB8 finished in fourth place he started the grid in 3 rd place.The time difference was 38.7 seconds meaning that the first three drivers had the most close competition.

Nico Rosberg from Mercedes team  who was the winner of China Grand Prix started the grid in 5 th place and also finished in 5 th place.The time difference was 55.4 seconds.

Paul Di Resta from Force India team finished in sixth place with time difference of 57.5 seconds.

Ferrari Driver Fernando Alonso finished in 7 th place with time difference of 57.8 seconds.

Lewis Hamilton from Mclaren Mercedes finished in 8 th place with time difference of 58.9 seconds.

Jenson Button was retired in the middle of the race and finished in 18 th position he started the grid in 4 th position.

Michael Schumacher started the grid in 22 position and finished in 10 th position with time difference of 71.4 seconds.

Formula 1 2012 Bahrain Grand Prix Sebastian Vettel secures Pole

Red Bull Racing driver and defending champion Sebastian Vettel secures pole in Bahrain Grand Prix by winning Qualifying Practice.His Q1,Q2 and Q3 sessions timings are 1:34.308,1:33.527 and 1:32.422 respectively.He did a total of 18 laps.

In Second Place was Lewis Hamilton from Mclaren Mercedes team with 1:34.813,1:33.209 and 1:32.520 respecitvely in Q1,Q2 and Q3 and he completed only 13 laps.

Mark Webber team mate Sebastian Vettel finished in thrid place with Q1,Q2 and Q3 lap times of 1:34.015,1:33.311 and 1:32.637 respectively.

Jenson Button from Mclaren Mercedes team finished in 4 th place and he finished only 12 laps.

In fifth place was Nico Rosberg from Mercedes team he was in first position during Free practice sessions 2 & 3.

Michael Schumacher only lapped in Q1 and finished in 18 th place with his Q1 fastest lap time of 1:34.865.

Ferrari’s driver Fernando Alonso finished in 9 th place he did not participate in session 3 of QP.

Formula 1 2012 Bahrain Grand Prix Free Practice Session 3 Nico Rosberg is the fastest

Nico Rosberg from Mercedes team is the fastest in FP session 3 he was also the fastest during FP 2 and had also won Chinese Grand Prix.Seems like good time is rolling for Nico Rosberg at present.His Fastest Lap time was 1:33.254.

Defending Champion Sebastian Vettel from Red Bull Racing Renault had settled for second place with his fastest lap time of 1:33.401 with a time difference of 0.147 seconds.He was in third place during FP 2.

Sebastian Vettel’s team mate Mark Webber was in third place with hos fastest lap time of 1:33.663 had a time difference of 0.409 seconds.He was in second place during FP 2.It seems Ironical the team mates had interchanged their place in FP 3.

Lewis Hamilton from Mclaren-Mercedes who finished in 1 st place during FP 1 was in fourth place during FP 2 and also FP 3.In FP 3 his time difference was 0.528 seconds.

Michael Schumacher who finished in fifth place during FP 2 had finished again in fifth position with a time difference of 0.542 seconds.

Jenson Button team mate of Lewis Hamilton finished in sixth place with time difference of 0.645 seconds.

Ferrari’s driver Fernando Alonso finished in 10 th place with 1.641 seconds time difference.

2012 Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix Free practice 2 Nico Rosberg is the fastest

Nico Rosberg from Mercedes team was the fastest on the track in free practice session 2 he was also the winner of 2012 Chinese Grand Prix.His fastest lap time was 1:32.816.

In second place was Mark Webber from Red Bull Racing-Renault with fastest lap time  1:33.262 and he was behind Nico by o.446 seconds.

In third place was Defending champion and Mark Webber’s team mate Sebastian Vettel from Red Bull Racing with fastest lap time of 1:33.525 seconds fallling behind by 0.709 seconds.

Lewis Hamilton who finished in first place during free practice session 1 had finished in fourth place during free practice session 2 with a time difference of 0.931 seconds.

Michael Schumacher from Mercedes team finished in 5 th place with 1.046 seconds time difference.

Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso finished in eigth place with time difference of 1.633 seconds.

Formula 1 2012 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix Free practice 1 Lewis Hamilton in 1 st position

Lewis Hamilton from Vodafone Mclaren Mercedes team was the fastest man on the track during free practice session 1.His fastest lap time was 1:33.572.

He was followed in second place by Defending Champion Sebastian Vettel from Red Bull Racing-Renault team with his fastes lap time of 1:33.877 falling behind Hamilton’s fastest lap time by 0.305 seconds.

In third place Force India- Mercedes team driver Paul di Resta with fastest lap time of 1:34.150 with a time difference of 0.578 seconds.

In fourth place was 2012 China Grand Prix winner Nico Rosberg from Mercedes team with a time difference of  0.677 seconds.

And in Fifth place was Jenson Button from Mclaren Mercedes who finished second in second in China Grand prix ha d a time difference of  0.705 seconds.

Michael Schumacher from Mercedes finished in 7 th place with a time difference of 0.911 seconds.

Another Red Bull team rider Mark Webber finished in 8 th place with 0.980 seconds time difference.

Kimi Rakkonen and Romain Grosjean from Lotus-Renault team finished in 9 th and 10 th place respectively.

Formula 1-Nico Rosberg wins UBS Chinese Grand Prix 2012

Mercedes team driver Nico Rosberg won the 2012 Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix.Nico Rosberg started off with Pole position he finished the race in 1:36:26.929.He was followed by Jenson Button from Mclaren-Mercedes team who started the grid in 5 th position and had a time difference of 20.6 seconds.Jenson Button was qualified sixth during Qualifying session but LEwis Hamilton’s penalty to drop by five places on the grid made Jenson Button to start from 5 th place.

Lewis Hamilton from  Mclaren Mercedes was qualified for second place but was dropped was dropped by five places because of an unscheduled gearbox change and started in 7 th position in the grid.He settled for third place with a time difference of 26.0 seconds.

Mark Webber from Red Bull racing Renault with a time difference of 27.9 seconds was in fourth place again he was also in fourth place in Australia and Malaysian Grand Prix Making it three times in a row settling for fourth place.

Sebastian Vettel team-mate of Mark Webber from Red Racing started the grid in 11 th position.He is also the defending champion for 2012 he had finished in fifth place with time difference of 30.4 seconds.Vettel was also the winner of 2010 Formula 1 season.So there were high hopes on Vetttel to make it three in a row.But going by his present form in the season it seems a tough task to achieve three championship wins in a row.Vettel finshed in second place in Australian Grand prix and in 11 th place during Malaysia Grand Prix.

Michael Schumacher from Mercedes team who started the grid in third place was retired after a tire problem.He was also retired during the Australian grand prix because of gear box problems.He finished in tenth place during the Malaysian Grand prix the only time in these three Grand prix in 2012 season he was not retired from race.

Fernando Alonso from Ferrari team who started with 9 th position in the grid had also settled for 9 th place in the race.He won Malaysian Grand Prix in 2012.He had a time difference of 37.2 seconds.

Kamui Kobayashi and Kimi Raikkonen were in 4 th and 5 th place during qualifying respectively finished in 10 th and 14 th place.
